Barlow Trailers Limited has been established since 1970 and is now the main Lancashire Distributor of Ifor Williams Trailers and many other top manufacturers, including Equi-Trek, Duuo, Franc and Trelgo.
Over the years we have sold thousands of trailers and expert help is at hand to make sure you get the right trailer for your job.
We pride ourselves on our ability to supply extensive sales, after sales, parts, servicing, part exchange and a wide choice of related products. On occasion some quality used trailers are available, although very often demand exceeds availability.
In addition to the above we also have an extensive modern Hire Fleet of trailers, which are constantly updated and maintained to the highest standards. Our fully integrated computerised hire system is in place for stress free hiring.
Barlow Trailers has the largest hire fleet in the UK with over 100 hire trailers at our disposal. With 25 different models we should have the trailer to suit your needs. Prices from just £10 per day. Most trailers are Ifor Williams models and usually less than one year old. Serviced regularly, your hire should be a trouble free experience.
The first time you hire, you will require your Driving Licence (with your current address) and payment by Credit/Debt Card.
All hire rates include VAT and contribution to our UK mainland insurance premium. Subject to excess which is equal to 10% of the replacement value of the trailer hired, with a minimum of £50.00 up to a maximum of £400.00. The trailer must be left in a locked compound overnight or locked on to the towing vehicle. Failure to do so will result in an increase of the insurance excess to 20% of the total cost of the trailer. All accidents, losses, thefts must be reported to the police and Barlow Trailers within 8 hours of incident. Hirer must return in person to Barlow Trailers to report the accident, loss or theft and must have a crime reference number. It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that he/she has adequate recovery cover for example (e.g. AA, RAC) to recover the trailer in event of accident or breakdown.
